Nothing good lasts forever. Including the Rolling Stones…well, at least in their original form.
It was back on this date in 1993, during a live interview with the BBC’s “London Tonight”, that Rolling Stones bassist (since 1963?) Bill Wyman announces he’s going to quit.
“I really don’t want to do it anymore…”
…and with those words, the Rolling Stones are forever changed.
