The New Year is here, and you’ve probably started to slip up on your New Year’s resolutions already, if you made any to begin with. While Motley Crue wrapped up 2015 with their final concert in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve – low-lighted by Tommy Lee’s drum kit roller coaster malfuntion – there’s plenty of classic rock to be heard in the coming year.
David Bowie (January 8), Bon Jovi (March) and Cheap Trick (April 1) all have new albums coming out in 2016. It’s likely that we’ll hear new albums out this year from The Rolling Stones, U2 and Guns N’ Roses. GNR is apparently booked to play the Coachella music festival in April and is planning a 25 city stadium tour, says Billboard. Read HERE.
In addition to the possible GNR tour, these classic rock bands are booking U.S. tour dates for this year: AC/DC, Def Leppard W/Styx and Tesla, U2, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queen and Adam Lambert, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore and Rainbow, KISS, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford and Paul Rodgers.
