As Donnie Baker from the Bob and Tom Show might say, Youtubes is amazing. It really is, as is Facebook. I came across this video of all four original members of Queen doing a promotional interview for songs the recorded for the 1986 movie, “Highlander.” Queen’s Youtube channel posted this interesting look back on the band the other day

While the film is all but forgotten, save for some cult fans of it, it’s nice to see the four Queen boys all looking young, sharp and in good form. Freddie Mercury was asked about his future in the music world. Mercury said something like he couldn’t see himself dancing around on the stage forever and that he might veer toward production or just keep writing songs.

Unfortunately, Freddie was gone five years later, from AIDS, at the age of 45.
