Looks like we have another Peoria Rivermen game weekend upon us this weekend. The Rivermen are fresh off a winning weekend against Evansvill and Sunday’s win is Peoria’s fifth straight as they head into a three-game home weekend with Roanoke. The Rivermen return to action Friday night when they welcome the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs to Carver Arena for the first time ever to play the first of a three-game, three-night series.
Friday, March 3rd is Rivermen T-shirt giveaway night for the first 1,000 fans, presented by Western Illinois University and starts at 7:05pm. Saturday is Chicago Blackhawks Night with Dennis Savard singing autographs from 6-8pm plus Tommy Hawk and the Bud Light Ice Girls will be at the game, game time is 7:05pm. The weekend wraps up with Sunday Family Fun Day at Carver Arena with $1 Hot Dogs, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists and a post game skate with the team and a 3:05pm start time.
