This is Janie she’s a 3 year old pitbull mix available for adoption now. Janie has been at TAPS since November and we think she hasn’t been adopted yet because she doesn’t show well in her kennel. Janie barks, jumps, and paws her kennel whenever someone walks by but that is not how she acts outside of her kennel. Some dogs don’t do well in the kennel and Janie is one of them. As soon as she gets out of her kennel she’s happy, no barking, no jumping, no pawing. Janie rides excellent in the car, loves all children, gets along with other dogs. At a recent taps event she was calm, friendly, laid down so she could be pet often and there wasn’t one person there she didn’t like. Please, don’t pass up a GREAT dog because she doesn’t show well in her kennel, please stop into TAPS and ask to see her outside her kennel. She just might steal your heart.

She’s also been at TAPS too long, its time to find this great girl the home she deserves.

TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter Adoption Fees:
Puppies up to age 6 months- $225. Dogs that are 7 months to 7 years – $150. Dogs over 7 years old or who have been here longer than 6 months – $25. Cats/Kittens – $40. Cats over 7 years old or who have been here longer than 6 months – $25.
This fee includes: Spay/Neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick treatment and Avid microchip
