Looking for something to do this weekend? Then look no further than Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center the Rivermen are hosting the Fayetteville Fireantz this weekend-Friday, Saturday and Sunday! It should be an exciting weekend of hockey as the Rivermen are in a third-place tie with the Hunstville Havoc before the final two weeks of the regular-season schedule. Here’s what’s going down this weekend.
Friday night is National Wildlife Turkey Federation Night with the Rivermen and you’ll love the deal they have going on, all upper bowl tickets are just $8.11, presented by “Call Julie” ya know…call 8-11 before you dig? Thanks Julie! The players will be wearing specialty NWTF style jerseys that will be to be auctioned off after the game and then everyone is invited to the official postgame party at Kelleher’s in Downtown Peoria. Game is at 7:05PM.
Saturday is the CEFCU Rivermen Fan Fest and Farmers Insurance Education Appreciation Weekend 2.0 where FREE tickets are given to any teachers/school staff. The first 3000 fans in attendance will recieve a free team photo, players and coaches will sing autographs on the concourse after the game and you can enjoy the Savor Happy Hour featuring $4 20-oz Domestic Draft Beers from 6-8:30 PM, game is a re-match with the Fireantz and begins at 7:05PM.
Sunday wraps up the tri-fecta with an afternoon game at 3:05PM with the Sunday Family Fun Day game and again free tickets are given to any teachers/school staff, kids tickets are just $1.00 ages 12 and under, $1.00 hot dogs and of course the post game skate with the team. The face painters, balloon artists and inflatable rides will also be there too.
