Well here it is, year number 7 for the St. Jude Peoria Run with relay team Peoria Police. I am honored once again to run with my friends behind the badge to raise money, awareness and hopefully a cure for childhood cancer. Once again this year all of my fundraising efforts will go in memory of my friend Reagan Wednesday Kuehn, whom I met in the summer of 2014. Reagan passed away about a year later on November 7th, 2015 at the tender age of 6 years old. This should never happen! I will run in her memory every year that I am able to or until a cure can be found and this story never happens again. This year I am pledging to raise $15,000 in her memory.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal for Reagan and the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
