This Labor Day Weekend, take the drive to Knoxville and see some great rock live at the Knox County Fairgrounds Sunday. It’s Rockfest 2018, brought to you by Big Catz BBQ in Knoxville, headlined by Jack Russell’s Great White.
Just before Great White hits the stage, Brandon Gibbs and Joel Kosche, members of the Devil City Angels, will play. They’ll play Angels music and also great stuff from their earlier, more famous bands. Kosche was the longtime lead guitarist for Collective Soul and is still Atlanta-based, while Iowa native Gibbs teamed up with his identical twin brother, Brent, to tour the country for a decade, opening for opening huge rock shows as the Gibbs Brothers Band, never to be compared to the disco brothers, Gibb, of the Bee Gees.
Gibbs and Kosche are both known as exciting, powerful, world class lead guitarists, and both can sing, too, though Gibbs handles that role for the Devil City Angels. Hear my interview with them below (and in the GLO podcasts section at this site under the “Shows” tab at top) and make plans to see them and Great White Sunday evening at the Knox County Fairgrounds. It’s Rockfest 2018 presented by Big Catz BBQ in Knoxville and 95.5, GLO.
