Cool tunes from my youth are picked out for this week’s random-style Doc’s Deep Dive at 6:15p, weeknights on 95.5, GLO.

I’ll be bringing back to the airwaves tunes that have slipped between the radio cracks somehow. Starting it off with a hit from a guy who turns 80 today! Then you’ll hear a summer anthem by Alice Cooper, who plays Peoria July 7 at the Civic Center Theater.

Can’t go wrong with anything from The Beatles White album (Wed.), then a melodic, upbeat rocker from Asia and ending the week with a fun, randy, weekend-friendly song likely never played before on GLO by The B-52’s. Enjoy.
