The King of Queens – Kevin James – will play Peoria, coming to the Peoria Civic Center Theater for a Saturday night, October 5 show!
Kevin James has been making us laugh for decades now, mostly on TV (King of Queens and Kevin Can Wait sitcoms on CBS) and in movies like Grown Ups and Paul Blart, Mall Cop. He returns to his stand up roots from time to time, so make sure you catch his outstanding stand up act this fall.
I had a chance to meet him back around 2000 when I was in Las Vegas for a TV convention with Eddie Urish and Big Daddy Bill Marshall. We were basically the only local TV crew on the floor of this massive convention when TV stars and execs pitched their syndicated shows to station general managers. Eddie got the chance to do a quick interview with him, and Kevin was as funny and charming off camera as he was on. The 5-minute interaction made me an even bigger fan of his.
