“I see my story as a suite of songs that have a magical connection. I never understood that connection until I sat down to write. It was then that the magic started to flow.” – Lenny Kravitz
Let Love Rule will be published October 6th. Kravitz wrote it with David Ritz, who’s co-authored books with Marvin Gaye, Janet Jackson, Buddy Guy and B.B. King. The book will cover his life from birth all the way up to the release of the album Let Love Rule which was released in 1989. Kravitz says, “That journey, full of adventure, was where I found myself and my voice. Through that experience, love was the force that paved the way and love became my message.”
This is a memoir I’m looking forward to reading! I’ve always been a fan of his music, his acting and his style, I’ve said for years that Lenny is the most stylish man in rock and roll. The only thing that bums me out about this book is that it wont be covering how he got into acting. Kravitz made his big screen debut in 2009 in the movie Precious but most tend to him from his small part in the film The Hunger Games.
