Classic Rock legends Aerosmith have announced their retirement from touring, due to the ongoing vocal challenges with front man Steven Tyler. The band announced their retirement on Friday evening, saying that Steven’s recovery from his vocal injury was not possible. A sad day indeed for all Aerosmith fans. The band ceased touring last September after Tyler injured his vocal cords during a show in Long Island. Tyler had hope for a full recovery from the injury, as the band was set to resume their “Peace Out” tour this September. The band will cease touring, but is not breaking up. As you may recall, Aerosmith played Peoria, perhaps you were there? One of Rock’s most enduring and legendary bands has sadly ended their run on the road.
