Matt Stonie Upsets Joey Chestnut in Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest [VIDEO]

An amazing feat of athleticism happened over the weekend and no, I’m not talking about the Women’s U.S National Team winning the World Cup. In the greatest upset of the century, Matt Stonie defeated 8 time Champion Joey Chestnut to win the Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest in New York on the Fourth of July.

Matt “Megatoad” Stonie chowed 62 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to claim the mustard yellow belt. Chestnut, the reigning hot dog champion, only managed 60 dogs in a heroic effort. Chestnut had won eight straight titles and he still holds the record of 69 hot dogs from his 2013 competition. FULL STORY
