A sign of spring is arriving in Peoria this weekend. The 2019 Official Spring Home Show runs Friday through Sunday at the Exhibition Hall at the Civic Center.
This is the place to efficiently get ideas and pricing for all the home projects you’ll be taking on eventually. Most of us are home owners or are going to be one eventually, so it’s a great one-stop to see what’s new and talk to the experts on hand. There’s over 250 exhibitors there this weekend, plus, informative seminars and family entertainment.
Do it yourselfers, learn new tricks by watching Joel Karsten from Straw Bale Gardening and the Plaster Man, Robin Raymer. I also enjoy watching the crowd-pleasing Disc-Connected K9’s World Champion Frisbee Dogs do their amazing feats.
The Official Spring Home Show starts Friday 4-9p, runs all day Saturday (10a-6p), then wraps up from 10a – 4p on Sunday, when I’ll be there hanging out near the Homeway Home display home that’s been assembled right inside the Civic Center Hall.
Adults over 18, it’s just $7, with seniors over 60 half price. Kids under 18 get in free! And CEFCE Member Centers have a BOGO special on adult tickets, buy one, get one free.
Cure your cabin fever and see what you do to make your home even better this year at this weekend’s Official Spring Home Show at the Civic Center in downtown Peoria, made possible by the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Peoria, with 95.5, GLO.
