Did you watch the Oscar Awards show last night? Yeah, me neither.

But, from what I can see in the reviews, the best part was at the top of the telecast when Queen, with Adam Lambert, kicked off the show with “We Will Rock You / We Are The Champions.”

I’m glad that actor Rami Malek won the Academy Award for Best Actor, playing the late Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Critics were spinning mixed reviews when I saw the film a few weeks after it came out. I came away blown away by Malek’s performance. To borrow another famous movie line, “He had me at hello.” See the opening video and Malek’s acceptance speech below.
