The 2025 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois returns to Kelleher’s Irish Pub on Saturday, February 15 and we want you to brave the cold and help us raise money!

In 2024, Plungers raised more than $2,400,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. The Polar Plunge raises critical funding for a community of over 55,000 athletes, Young Athletes, Unified partners, coaches, and volunteers to have access to life-changing programming including year-round sports competitions and training, health and wellness, as well as leadership and personal development.

After you register, Plungers start collecting donations to meet (and beat) the minimum $100 total to support Special Olympics Illinois. Each person who fundraises the minimum receives an exclusive 2025 Polar Plunge hoodies, plus the chance to earn additional prizes for raising money.
