Details about GLO’s longtime afternoon show host:
Native of Detroit’s South suburbs. Peoria became the adopted hometown in 1996, when he started with The Morning Mix TV show on WMBD-TV, leaving behind a sports radio job in Toledo.
Has appeared on roughly half the radio stations in Peoria, but GLO became his radio home in 2010.
Career Highlights:
Kicked an extra point in 2000 for the Indoor Football League champion Peoria Pirates.
Interviewed Obama.
Flew on the initial Greater Peoria Honor Flight trip to Washington, DC.
Inducted into his Detroit broadcast school’s Hall of Fame in 2020.
